After a few days in Edinburgh we headed towards the West Coast and Islay, but decided that a stop through Oban wouldn’t be a bad idea. It gave us an opportunity to get some footage and photos of the stunning mountain scenery through the Trossachs-Loch Lomond National Park. It was as spectacular as we had imagined – classic Scottish Highland scenery. There aren’t many distilleries in this region, but it is spectacular and a photographer’s dream.

Loch Awe.

The quaint village of Callander.

The meat pie, Scotland’s favorite snack. We sampled dozens, and this one in Callander was the best.

Driving through the Highlands, you don’t get far very fast. There’s always something beautiful around every turn.
